Are Swisstrax tiles easy to install yourself?
Yes, our interlocking tiles are designed for a 'DIY' experience. Most garage or patio projects can be completed in a few hours using basic tools like a tape measure and a fine-tooth saw for edge cuts.
How much weight can the flooring tiles support?
Our Ribtrax Pro tiles are engineered to withstand up to 75,000 lbs of rollover weight and a compressive strength of 3,120 psi, making them ideal for heavy SUVs, tool boxes, and floor jacks.
How do I clean my Swisstrax floor?
Maintenance is simple. For open-profile tiles like Ribtrax, you can use a shop vac to remove debris or a garden hose/pressure washer to flush dirt through the channels. For solid tiles, a standard mop and mild cleaning solution work perfectly.
Do the tiles expand and contract with temperature changes?
Like all polypropylene products, our tiles will expand and contract. We recommend leaving a small 1/2-inch gap around the perimeter of your installation to allow for thermal movement without buckling.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all standard stock items in original, unused condition. Please note that custom-designed floor kits may be subject to a restocking fee.
Do you offer a warranty on your flooring?
Yes, Swisstrax products come with a limited lifetime warranty for residential applications and a 15-year warranty for commercial use, covering manufacturing defects and UV stabilization.
